Today is our day trip to Disneyland Shanghai. I bought the tickets online from headout.com. The tickets costs ¥5,666 (~RM3,400) for 2 adults and 2 children. That’s roughly RM850 per person. The tickets I purchased came with Premier Access (fast pass) for 6 attractions.

After breakfast at the hotel, we took the metro from People’s Square Station on Nanjing Road. We had to change at Oriental Sports Centre before arriving at Disney Resort. The whole journey took about 50 minutes.

Once we arrived at Disneyland station, we headed straight to the entrance. There was a slight hiccup as I was informed selfie sticks are not allowed. The ground staff escorted me to the storage area, which was quite a walk, and later allowed me to enter again via a shortcut as I had verified my ticket earlier.

The weather that day was good (by my standards), the rain just ended and it was cloudy with a cool breeze.

We started off by exploring the Disney shops at Mickey Avenue (near the entrance).

The park was definitely bigger than Disneyland Tokyo, which we visited in 2024 (blogpost here).

We used the Disneyland app to catch as much rides as possible. The app also showed the waiting times at the key rides, which is really useful.

The park was connected to Disneytown (bottom left of map), which is essentially a commercial town with shops and cafes. We get to exit the park and go to the town for coffee, and then re-enter the park again. It was very convenient. The exiting and re-entry was also a breeze.

In the evening, we used our Fast Pass to get on the Pirates of Caribbean ride.

We had dinner while waiting for the fireworks display over the castle. It was amazing.

We later took a taxi back to the hotel. The location of the taxi stand was a bit far but there were a lot of taxis available.
