Tue 25 Dec 2018

That morning, after having breakfast at the flat, I decided to go for a run. I’ve brought all my running gear and went around the block. Running in the cold weather feels different.
Since today is Christmas, most shops are closed. We only went out a bit later in the afternoon.
At around 4PM, we took Uber to Pret at South Kensington. I had my usual coffee and chocolate croissant. After walking around, we head back to the flat for dinner.

Woke up early and at 8AM I went for my morning coffee routine at Costa near the tube station.
Today is Boxing Day Sale, the highlight of our holiday. For this year’s Boxing Day, the ladies decided to go to Westfield. I normally avoid tagging along for Boxing Day shopping (Oxford Street is a total nightmare), but since I’ve never been to Westfield, I thought it might be interesting.

We arrived at Westfield around 11AM. I was pleased to see the crowds were not as huge as Oxford Street. Some of the shops had really good bargains.

We spent the entire day there, and went back to the flat later in the evening by taxi.
Thurs 27 Dec 2018
Woke up early as usual and went for breakfast at the deli.

Today is kinda like a shopping day for me. We went to High Street Kensington and visited a few department stores there. I went to Marks and Spencer and got myself a new jacket.

After that, I headed to Clarks and bought a new pair of casual shoes (that I’ve been eyeing for days!).

I also spotted my favourite Ben’s Cookies as we passed by the High Street Kensington station. The warm cookies tasted really good in the cold weather.

After that, I had a quick bite at the McDonalds opposite the High Street Kensington station, before heading to Harrods. I was too hungry that I ordered both the Chicken Selects (left) and the Chicken Legend with hot & spicy mayo (right). It’s my favourite meal at McDonalds in the UK. Too bad they don’t serve this in Malaysia.

Today is the Harrods sale and the ladies went for another round of shopping. In between that, we managed to find time to indulge in some nice ice cream at the Harrods Ice Cream Parlour.

Took a black cab back to flat. One of the things I really like about the London cab is that, despite it’s expensive fare, the cab can fit 2 open strollers comfortably. That is really convenient for parents with 2 kids who are sleeping in their strollers! Amazing!
