As per the previous day, I woke up early and went to the nearby Tsutaya for light breakfast. I got a nice seat in the cafe with a view of the overall bookstore.

Around 10AM, I took the rest of the group for breakfast at City Bakery near San Ban Gai. They serve good coffee and pastries.

Don Qui Jote

After that, we walked to Don Qui Jote near Osaka Station. After the visit to Don Qui Jote in Dotonbori yesterday, we wanted to explore another store nearer to our hotel.

Unattended luggage outside shop

As we were entering the store, I saw something interesting. A group of visitors left their luggage unattended outside the store. I have seen something similar countless times in Japan and yet, every time I see it I am amazed at their sense of safety and security in the country. It’s just amazing.

Inside Don Qui Jote Umeda

From Don Qui Jote, we walked to Hankyu Department Store for some window shopping. It’s the main store in Umeda area.

After some light snack at Hankyu, we made our way to Daimaru. We passed by a scenic view of Osaka Station.

Nintendo center at Daimaru

I took the girls to the Pokemon Center. They had fun with the gashapon machines, and was able to play the latest Kirby game on Nintendo Switch. That was the moment I decided to buy a Switch in KL (the one in Japan is the Japanese version).

Ultraman shop at San Ban Gai

Later in the evening, we went to explore more shops at San Ban Gai. I found the Ultraman shop to be quite interesting.

Dessert at San Ban Gai

After exploring the shops, we ended the evening with some desserts. The pancakes were simply amazing!
